PASS THE BATON in Omotesando, Tokyo, will be holding a "Rohmer and Women x PASS THE BATON Special Event - Women Play with Love, Women's Vacation" from April 21st to May 22nd.
The event is being held to commemorate the special screening of Eric Rohmer's works, "Rohmer and Women," which will be held at Kadokawa Cinema Yurakucho from May 21st to June 10th. "Rohmer and Women" will feature a special screening of eight love stories woven against the beautiful landscapes of France by Eric Rohmer, a master of romantic comedy who is considered an important figure in the Nouvelle Vague and who continued to portray beautiful women within philosophical themes throughout his life. All eight works will be shown in digitally remastered versions. The lineup consists of eight films: "The Collector," "A Night at Maud's," "Claire's Knee," "Pauline on the Shore," "A Night with a Full Moon," "The Green Ray," "Reinette and Mirabelle: The Four Adventures," and "The Friend's Lover."
To commemorate this, the event will feature fashion and interior design selected by Pass the Baton, inspired by the Rohmer films being screened, as well as items collected from exhibitors. Those who purchase eligible products during the period will also receive a discount ticket for the film on a first-come, first-served basis.
