The world's first MARNI cafe, "MARNI FLOWER CAFE," opened on the third floor of the Hankyu Umeda Main Store on March 2nd. We'll take a look at the interior, the cafe menu, and limited-edition products!
The entrance, decorated with miniature houses, reflects the store's concept, and is greeted by colorful flowers and products. Beyond that is a pink open kitchen, creating an open space. The eat-in area is laid out in a rich color scheme that embodies MARNI's worldview, with soft blue velvet sofas painted red, a green onyx counter, colorful metal seats, and woven chairs.
The cafe menu, which incorporates slow food culture, focuses on savory dishes such as focaccia sandwiches filled with green peas and cream cheese (730 yen), as well as a wide selection of sweets, including biscotti (from 130 yen) and crostata chocolate with raspberry (800 yen), perfect for accompany your coffee. Drinks include orange and carrot juice (750 yen) made with fresh ingredients, as well as alcoholic beverages such as wine, allowing you to relax and enjoy your meal in the store. Focaccia and biscotti are also available for takeout, packaged in adorable original designs.
In addition to the store and food, we were also intrigued by the limited-edition products. The first lineup features items themed around a "spring picnic." Items include a round wooden bento box (13,000 yen), a water bottle with an original illustration (14,200 yen), and a bag with a floral pattern (22,000 yen), which is the theme of the store.
