Following on from the Spring/Summer 2016 collection, YUMA KOSHINO's 2016-17 Fall/Winter collection features botanical and floral motifs layered in various ways, including prints and jacquards.
The first look features a botanical print with an ethnic pop feel, paired with green leggings for an '80s London vibe. Tartan checks, loose-gauge knitwear, and chemical graphic prints create a world with black accents. Mixing contrasting elements—loose and tight, hard and feminine—with geometric accessories, London pop styling is becoming the brand's identity.
The balanced tent silhouette that permeates the collection, the futuristic graphics that offer a modern take on Art Deco, and the use of shiny materials all reflect the attitude toward clothing that YUMA KOSHINO has taken over the past few seasons as a designer and mother.
This season hinted at the beginning of the next stage for the brand, which will celebrate its 10th anniversary next year.
