TOD'S is providing costume support for the film "Diana," which will be released on October 18th and depicts the life of the former Princess Diana.

Naomi Watts, who plays the main character Diana, wears the brand's iconic D-Bag and Gommini shoes, which are from the same series that Diana loved to wear. In March of this year, TOD'S released a photo book, "Timeless Icon" (published by Elekta, Italy), which compiles historical photographs of Princess Diana. A portion of the book's sales will be donated to Clic Sargent, a British organization that supports children and young people with cancer.

"Diana" is a film that depicts the final years of Princess Diana, who passed away suddenly in 1997. The film stars two-time Academy Award nominee Naomi Watts and is directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel, director of "Downfall." The costumes were created with full cooperation from brands favored by Diana, including Tod's, Chopard, Versace, and Dior. The dresses worn by Diana herself are also used. With permission from the royal family, filming took place outside Kensington Palace and in Kensington Gardens. The film will be released nationwide, including at Toho Cinemas Yurakucho.
