
Kintetsu Department Store has decided to open the specialty store zone of the Abeno Harukas Kintetsu Main Store, the upper floors of the Wing Building (part of the 4th floor to the 8th floor), on October 10th. The company also announced the new tenants.
Part of the 4th floor, which will open first, will house Size World, a store that caters to sizes L and S, and Charles Reform x2, a renovation and repair shop. The 5th floor will be targeted at active senior women (over 60 years old), and will include Maruzen, a stationery specialty store; Hobbyra Hobbyre, a handmade craft store; Masuku Dyeing and Weaving Research Institute, a specialty store for hand-spun organic cotton (a department store debut); Famille, a specialty store for French ribbons and tassels (a first for a department store in western Japan); and Le Jardin Imac, a new type of clothing and accessories store.
The 6th floor will be dedicated to sports. The lineup will include a shoe store with a trial course called "Walk & Run Park," a women's-only fitness studio called "Bodies" (a first for a Western Japan department store), "Asics Running" (a first for a department store) offering shoe selection using analytical and measuring equipment, yoga wear store "Henri Bebe" (a first for a Western Japan department store), outdoor specialty store "Kojitsu Sanso" (a first for an Osaka department store), and Beams' golf store "Beams Golf" (a first for a Western Japan department store).
The men's casual wear section on the 7th floor, called "Soraha Men's," targeting men in their late 20s and 30s, will feature brands such as "Double Standard Clothing Him" (a first for Western Japan), "Memento" (a first for Western Japan), "Complete Works" (a first for Western Japan), "Köln von Schlissel" (a new store), "Smart It" (a new store), and socks brand "Tabio Homme" (a first for Osaka).
The 8th floor is a children's floor. The store will feature a children's only hair salon "Zusso Kids," a photo studio for children and families "Aishakan" (a first for a department store), and a stuffed animal store "Animal Planet" (a new business concept).
In addition, part of the prepared food section on the second basement floor will open on September 19th, with the rest of the floors opening next spring. The opening date has not yet been decided, but once opened, the sales floor will cover a vast area of 100,000 square meters, including the Tower Building which opened in June.
