Gucci will open its second flagship store, Ginza Namiki, in Tokyo's Ginza district on April 29th.

Gucci Namiki is located on Namiki Street, where Gucci first launched its business in Japan in 1964. Based on a unique concept befitting its historic location, the store was born as a place to offer carefully selected products and exclusive custom-made services to those who seek authentic value.

The four-floor store will be a hub that embodies the creative vision of Creative Director Alessandro Michele, who is redefining luxury fashion with his contemporary approach, and will feature three stories that will unfold one after the other, each creating a different experience.

The two-floor retail space will open on April 29th. It will carry a full range of Gucci's latest collections, from men's and women's apparel to handbags, luggage, accessories, shoes, jewelry, watches, eyewear, and fragrances. Additionally, it will offer exquisite items such as handbags crafted from precious leathers and one-of-a-kind high jewelry.

To celebrate the opening of Gucci Namiki, Japanese artist Yuko Higuchi, a longtime collaborator with the brand, will create a limited-edition collection featuring her beautiful illustrations. Special artwork by Yuko Higuchi will also adorn the façade facing Namiki-dori.

[Opening This Fall] The Third Floor is a Special Space by Reservation Only

In addition, this fall, a special space called the "Gucci Apartment," the first of its kind in Japan, will open on the third floor. This appointment-only space will serve as both a salon for custom orders and a showroom where customers can experience the furniture and interior decorations of the Gucci Décor collection in detail, offering services that allow customers to fully appreciate Gucci's renowned Italian craftsmanship.

[Opening This Year] A Restaurant by a Three-Michelin-Star Chef on the Fourth Floor

The restaurant "Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura" is scheduled to open on the fourth floor of the building later this year. Named after three-Michelin-star chef Massimo Bottura, this restaurant will be his third worldwide. Following locations in Florence, Italy and Los Angeles, Japan, the Ginza location will be co-directed by Massimo Bottura and Karime Lopez, head chef of Gucci Osteria in Florence.

Following the shop, there will also be a salon & showroom, and a restaurant. I am really looking forward to the opening of all the floors.
