■A flagship store has opened, offering champagne perfect for gifts, with original gift wrapping!
Today, there is no precedent anywhere in the world for a champagne brand to open a permanent flagship store. (According to our own research, even for gift purchases, packaging is often provided by individual retailers. ANGEL CHAMPAGNE aims to stimulate gift demand, increase brand awareness, and boost sales by opening its flagship store, the "ANGEL CHAMPAGNE Ginza Store," in May 2021 to provide a service consistent with the brand's worldview, from product selection time to wrapping paper and shopping bags.

The interior of the "ANGEL CHAMPAGNE Ginza Store" is inspired by the luxurious bottle design and includes a cafe space. Exclusively at the Ginza store, customers will be able to enjoy ANGEL CHAMPAGNE's main lineup by the glass, as well as sweets and other items. Customers who purchase gifts will receive original brand shopping bags and gift wrapping.

In addition, taxi advertisements will be launched on March 15th and truck advertisements will be launched in April as a preview of the opening.

■Japan is the third largest importer of champagne! Champagne consumption trends and market needs
The global champagne market has sales of approximately 5 billion euros (approximately 650 billion yen), with more than half of that being exported outside of France. (In 2018, shipments to overseas markets exceeded domestic shipments for the first time in over half a century of history.)

Japan became the third largest importer for the first time in 2017, after the UK and the US, and both quantity and value have been increasing year by year. While sales within France have been declining, markets outside the EU have been steadily expanding. It can be said that Japan has been driving market growth, with a total growth rate of 90% over the past 10 years.
