Louis Vuitton will be releasing a new, elegant high jewelry collection, "PURE V," this spring. It features an architectural design that adds a contemporary twist to the Maison's instantly recognizable signature "V." The striking "V" line, crafted from white gold, diamonds, and onyx, shimmers against the skin.

The iconic Louis Vuitton "V" signature was reinterpreted in the 2014 high jewelry collection, "Acte V." This time, this graphic design has been reinterpreted in a new high jewelry collection titled "PURE V," consisting of eight extremely precious models. Francesca Amfitheatrof, Artistic Director of Louis Vuitton's Watches & Fine Jewelry collections, said: "With this High Jewelry collection, I wanted to capture the essence of the letter 'V', updating this signature for a more modern look. A key inspiration was the Art Deco-inspired 'V' signature that Gaston-Louis Vuitton, the third head of the House, had painted on his luggage in the 1920s and 1930s."


Continuing the creative legacy of the House, Francesca Amfitheatrof has rendered the famous initials in her distinctive, instantly recognizable style. The bold and undeniable "V" signature accentuates the jewellery's architectural silhouette with its upward and downward movement. Francesca explains: "With Pure V, the skin visible through the jewellery plays just as important a role as the jewellery itself. I wanted this collection, a minimalist reinterpretation of the "V" signature, to be chic, edgy and versatile, as today's woman needs versatile high jewellery that can be worn with a black turtleneck or a tuxedo jacket."



Another iconic element of this collection is its balance. "Pure V" consists of eight pieces: two designs each of necklaces, bracelets, rings, and earrings. The basic principle of their design is the uniformity of the same color and material. They are available in a pure white version made of gold and diamonds, or a two-tone version adding the black of onyx. A white gold necklace entirely set with brilliant-cut diamonds features a two-carat pear-shaped diamond suspended from a central "V" that perfectly highlights the radiant beauty of the diamond that crowns the precious stone, while the two-tone version is an alluring Art Deco necklace featuring rhythmic lines of onyx and a central "V" adorned with a triangle-cut diamond.




In the rings and bracelets, the combination of lines of baguette-cut diamonds, lines of onyx and triangle-cut diamonds is reminiscent of the black & While reminiscent of white jewelry, its extremely cutting-edge design, based on perfect proportions, is truly 21st century.

The same goes for earrings, featuring a circle of solid white diamonds occasionally accented with an onyx "V." The design, which surrounds the ear from front to back with a sparkle that illuminates it, expresses modern chic.
