Italian shoe and accessory brand POLLINI, creatively directed by British designer Nicholas Kirkwood, will hold an exhibition commemorating the brand's 60th anniversary, titled "UNPACKING 60 YEARS OF POLLIN." The exhibition will run from October 1st to 8th in the promotion space on the second floor of the Isetan Shinjuku store. The exhibition will recreate the same display concept as the exhibition held at Milan Fashion Week in February. By juxtaposing the AW13 collection, including the latest redesign of the Cavaliere boot, originally released in 1977, for modern women, alongside archive footwear, the exhibition will express the fusion of Pollini's traditional and modern elements, unraveling the brand's 60-year history. In addition to the exhibition, AW13 items will also be available for purchase. In addition, pumps (45,150 yen) exclusive to Isetan Shinjuku will also be sold, combining patent calfskin and polka dots with zebra-patterned heels.
