Nina Ricci has unveiled a new iconic bag, "BALLET." The brand will refocus on its traditional leather goods.
Inspired by the rehearsal bags used by ballerinas, "BALLET" was also featured at the brand's 2013-14 Autumn/Winter collection show in Paris. It features a strap that allows it to be used as a shoulder bag. The two-material design, along with a slim handle and gold hardware, adds a feminine touch.
The lineup includes a deerskin and suede design in four colors: white, black, beige, and green (249,900 yen/225,750 yen), a felt and baby calf leather design in gray (219,450 yen), and a shearling fur and baby calf leather design in white (295,050 yen).
A campaign video is also available on the brand's official website. The choreography was created by the Paris-based artist duo "I Could Never Be a Dancer." Three dancers appear, bringing "ballet" to life and expressing its unique worldview through different compositions.
