On November 6th, Isetan Mitsukoshi Holdings announced the details of the annual Paris-based chocolate festival, Salon du Chocolat 2016. The theme for this 14th edition is "Innovations Chocolate, Expressions Cacao." The event will express gratitude for the fertile land where cacao grows and respect for chocolatiers through chocolate. As with previous years, the venue will be the Shinjuku NS Building basement event hall, running from January 27th to 31st, 2016 (10:00 AM to 8:00 PM each day). Approximately 100 chocolate brands from around 20 countries will gather at the venue.

The locations where the event will be held are Marui Imai Sapporo Main Store (January 31st to February 14th), Sendai Mitsukoshi (February 2nd to February 14th), Nagoya Sakae Mitsukoshi (February 3rd to February 8th), JR Kyoto Isetan (January 27th to February 14th), Lucua Osaka (January 27th to February 14th), and Iwataya Main Store (January 28th to February 14th).
