Michael Kors will open its largest flagship store in Japan on November 20th on Chuo-dori in Tokyo's Ginza district (4-5-4 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo). This will be the global luxury lifestyle brand's first store to offer all of its product categories. The exterior features a large video screen, and the first-floor facade features a large glass window framed in marble. The facade features the brand's signature metallic and textured accents, while the interior features stainless steel, marble fixtures, and Macassar wood. The 780-square-meter store spans three floors. The second floor will stock ready-to-wear from both the Michael Kors Collection and MICHAEL MICHAEL KORS women's lines, as well as the shoe collection. The first floor will stock handbags, small leather goods, watches, jewelry, eyewear, and other accessories. The basement floor will be home to Japan's first men's clothing and accessories.
In addition, limited-edition items will be released to commemorate the store's opening. A total of six items will be available, including handbags based on MICHAEL MICHAEL KORS' popular "Greenwich" bag series, small leather goods, and key chains. These items, which feature color blocks of MICHAEL KORS' signature dark camel and the new ballet pink, will be adorned with a "LIMTED EDITION GINZA" plate indicating their limited availability.
