"The Icons of Style," an event hosted by Michael Kors in partnership with Vanity Fair, a magazine published by Condé Nast, and event consulting firm FASHION & CINEMA, is taking place in London for three days from May 14th.

To kick off the event on May 14th, a discussion on the relationship between fashion and film, led by Elizabeth Saltzman of Vanity Fair, took place with designer Michael Kors and actresses Kate Hudson, Rene Russo, and Ali MacGraw.

In addition, in the evening of the same day, a dinner party was held at restaurant The IVY to celebrate the opening of the Michael Kors Collection store, which opened in April of this year on Sloane Street, London, an area packed with luxury boutiques.

The event was attended by Michael Kors, Kate Hudson, Rene Russo, and Ali MacGraw, who participated in the discussion, as well as actress Uma Thurman, who appeared in a high-waisted black dress that accentuated her cleavage, and model Erin O'Connor, who wore a vibrant set with a large floral print. Other notable guests who were invited included Lily Donaldson, Jessica Michibata, and photographer Mario Testino, who all enjoyed a glamorous evening.
