Gong Cha Japan Co., Ltd. (GCJ) will launch "Saisai Gayu Gapao" as a new menu item in its "Saisai Gayu" food menu on March 4, 2021. *Excluding some stores.
■New Menu "Saisai Gayu Gapao"
This is an original Gong Cha dish that transforms the Thai dish of gapao rice into porridge.
This Chinese-style porridge is made by slowly simmering rice in chicken stock and accented with the aroma of ginger, and is paired with Thai-style stir-fried chicken with basil, creating a refreshing flavor with a spicy kick. By using plenty of local spices, we have created an authentic flavor.
■About "Saisai Gayu"
Last year, GCJ launched its first food menu item, "Saisai Gayu," a Gong Cha-style take on porridge, a dish beloved throughout Asia, including Japan. It can be enjoyed any time of the day, lunchtime, or dinner, and pairs well with Gong Cha's tea menu.
The product name "Saisai Gayu" reflects the warmth and flavor of porridge, which soothes both body and soul, and the belief that eating Gong Cha porridge brightens up your day.
"Saisai Gayu" is available in three varieties to suit your mood and the occasion: the newly released "Gapao," the mild-tasting "Samgyetang," and the "Black Sesame Dandan," which boasts the rich flavor of black sesame and the spiciness of Sichuan pepper.
