
FAUCHON has collaborated with The Lobby Lounge, the lounge and bar at Shangri-La Hotel, Tokyo, to host the limited-time "FAUCHON Afternoon Tea" from June 1st to 30th. FAUCHON's Japan Development Chef, Anthony Stettler, and Shangri-La Hotel, Tokyo's Executive Pastry Chef, Naoya Okamura, have combined their diverse expertise and imagination to create this original "FAUCHON Afternoon Tea," fusing French and Asian flavors. In addition to the more than 20 varieties of black tea available at The Lobby Lounge, the tea will feature a selection of fragrant flavored teas, including FAUCHON's popular apple tea. Furthermore, the tea menu will include original creations, including FAUCHON's signature eclairs, including a highly designed version featuring the Shangri-La Hotel, Tokyo's logo, and a salty eclair made with foie gras and salmon, which will be debuted in Japan for the first time. Meanwhile, Chef Okamura of the Shangri-La Hotel, Tokyo, will revive the hotel's signature mango pudding, a dish with Asian roots. The rich flavor of coconut milk, its smooth texture, and the chewy texture of tapioca pearls make this an addictive dish. The restaurant will also offer a matcha cake, featuring a pleasant harmony of the distinctive bitterness of matcha and the subtle sweetness of matcha cream. Furthermore, starting at 6:00 PM on weekdays, the restaurant will offer "FAUCHON After Five." Enjoy foie gras, salmon, and pistachio eclairs, finger foods, and over 10 varieties of sparkling, red, and white wines and cocktails. A plan that includes a glass of Fauchon champagne is also available. Experience the artistic world of pastries, where these two chefs explore the flavors and beauty of France and Tokyo.
