To commemorate the first anniversary of the release of "METROPOLITAN DREAM BY H.NAKATA," a charity collection created in collaboration with former soccer player Hidetoshi Nakata, DAMIANI held the first donation ceremony for the nonprofit organization HOME-FOR-ALL.

"METROPOLITAN DREAM BY H.NAKATA" was born from the longtime friendship between Giorgio Grassi Damiani, Vice President of DAMIANI, and Hidetoshi Nakata, Representative Director of the TAKE ACTION FOUNDATION. The collection features items designed jointly by the two, based on the designs of DAMIANI's iconic "METROPOLITAN DREAM" collection.

The donation to HOME-FOR-ALL began when Giorgio Grassi Damiani and Hidetoshi Nakata shared their sympathy for the organization's reconstruction support efforts. Over a three-year period, a portion of sales from the "METROPOLITAN DREAM BY H.NAKATA" collection will be donated. HOME-FOR-ALL is an organization established to support the "Home-for-All" project, launched by architect Toyo Ito and several other architects in response to the Great East Japan Earthquake. As of the end of July 2015, 14 "Home-for-All" homes had been completed, serving as bases for those who lost their homes in the disaster to get back on their feet and start new lives. Also, to commemorate the first anniversary of the "METROPOLITAN DREAM BY H.NAKATA" collection, new items that combine functionality and modern design will be released. Based on the "METROPOLITAN DREAM" collection, unisex items will be available, including bangles in white gold with a black burnished finish, pink gold with diamonds, and casual leather bracelets.
