Descente's golf apparel brand, "DESCENTE GOLF," debuting in the 2015 Spring/Summer season, has appointed former Japanese national soccer team player Hidetoshi Nakata as its ambassador. Nakata has launched a golf project called "HIDETOSHI NAKATA SWING TIMELINE."

This project involves continuously releasing online documentaries that closely follow Nakata as he takes up golf. The YouTube video, in particular, features Nakata playing with a serious expression on his face. The videos are based on themes such as "Finding the opportunity to try golf again," "The basic swing area known as the business zone," and "The three distances of 30 yards, 40 yards, and 50 yards that hold the key to scoring." Each video features several short 20-second videos covering each topic.

The short videos follow Nakata as he plays golf, but also include scenes in which he discusses his approach to sports, such as saying, "Golf and free kicks have something in common." This will be of interest to both golf and Nakata fans. In the "Business Zone" episode, Nakata recorded a 160-yard swing with a 7-iron, surprising his coach, Tani Masataka.

Nakata's practice footage will also be uploaded to social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
