MIHARA YASUHIRO's new line, "MYne," will debut in spring 2016. To commemorate this, the brand will release its first item, a pair of leather sneakers (priced at ¥28,000).

The new line, "MYne," follows MIHARA YASUHIRO's DNA while incorporating ideas from the younger generation who love street culture. The first collection, the SS16 collection, features items inspired by the "color gang" and "yankee" styles that were iconic of the late 1990s street scene.

In addition, ahead of the collection's launch, a tennis shoe-based "Sunicar" sneaker will be released on December 12th. The sneaker features a unique design that makes it appear as if another sneaker is protruding from inside the upper. The toe is made of smooth leather, which makes use of the highly water-resistant and lustrous grain of natural leather, while the interior of the upper is crafted in black, white, and silver. The shoes are based on tennis shoes, giving them a sense of elegance and freshness. They come in four colors: this season's theme colors of black and white, as well as beige and silver, which are easy to coordinate with monochrome outfits.
