NARS' new powder foundation controls light, creating beautiful, translucent skin.

Oct 11, 2014

NARS will release a new powder foundation, "All Day Luminous Stick Powder Foundation" (SPF25, PA+++, refill with sponge: ¥4,500, case: ¥1,300, sponge sold separately: ¥700) on October 24th.

Contains NARS's proprietary "Light Reflecting Complex," which transforms light like a prism. It enhances skin's translucency, making makeup look even more beautiful. "Luminous Stick Enhancing Technology," which contains amino acids and highly moisturizing marine fennel, leaves skin looking translucent and smooth with every use.

It also employs technology that controls light to reduce the appearance of skin concerns such as dullness, uneven skin tone, blemishes, and redness. It has a camouflage effect that creates a natural, radiant complexion without hiding your skin tone, and prevents the white cast that often occurs from sunlight and camera flash, achieving a healthy, natural complexion under any light. It comes in 11 shades to match your skin tone, from pink-based and yellow-based tones, and from light to healthy. It can be used in two ways: dry application with the puff side of the dedicated sponge creates a radiant, sheer finish, while wet application with the sponge side creates a soft, matte finish that lasts. For a natural look, apply the product using the Nars Kabuki Mizubake brush (launching November 21st, 6,000 yen), which has flat bristles, and blend from the center of your face outwards.
