Cosmetics brand SK-II will release a new powder foundation and makeup base on March 21st, designed to enhance the beauty of its makeup line, SK-II COLOR.
The Clear Beauty Powder Foundation (SPF25/PA+++, refill with puff for 5,775 yen, compact for 1,575 yen *according to editorial department research) focuses on the scientific understanding of skin color and the fact that purple is an essential element in achieving translucent skin. It contains a new, uniquely formulated lavender gold powder to naturally reproduce this color on the skin. It also contains SK-II's unique skincare ingredients that care for the skin even while you're applying makeup. The soft, moist powder spreads evenly and is easy to apply, leaving a finish that doesn't feel heavy even when layered, creating a smooth, natural skin feel. Available in eight colors. The emulsion-type makeup base "Clear Beauty Care & Control Cream" (SPF25/PA+++, 6,300 yen *according to the editorial department) contains three pearl colors—red, green, and orange—that blend naturally with the skin, as well as a white-pink cream that helps create a vibrant, healthy complexion. It corrects the tone before foundation, smoothing out uneven skin tone and dullness, while the brand's concentrated Pitera™ ingredients treat the skin during the day. SK-II COLOR was born as a makeup line based on the brand's 30-plus years of beauty research, offering skincare benefits and colors and textures that make skin look even more beautiful. It includes lipsticks with concentrated skincare ingredients at the center and eye shadows that moisturize the eye area.
