Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo in Mejiro, Tokyo, is offering a winter-only plan called "Winter Fantasia" starting November 22nd. Various events will be held in conjunction with the event.
The "Forest Aurora" event will be held near the Yusui Pond in the garden. This lighting projected blue and green curtains into the sky, accompanied by background music, creating a fantastical winter night. The event will run until December 28th from 6:00 PM to 10:40 PM. Also, at Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo, mist spreads around Hotaruzawa around sunset, creating a mysterious world with the autumn leaves at their peak. The leaves will also be lit up at night, so you can enjoy this unique winter scenery from dusk until nightfall.
During this event, the hotel's restaurant will offer a special "Year-End Buffet" dinner inspired by the aurora. In addition to a tasting comparison of king crab and snow crab, the restaurant will offer a colorful aurora-themed dish using Scandinavian-inspired ingredients like salmon and herring. The event runs until December 28th, and prices are 8,500 yen for adults, 4,000 yen for elementary school students, and 2,500 yen for infants. Other dining options include aurora-themed menus at the lobby lounge "Le Jardin," and the main bar "Le Marquis" offers aurora-themed jelly and a frozen aurora cocktail called "Shinonome Sora." Dinner shows featuring artists from various fields will also be held in December. On December 15th, Taichi Saotome, renowned as a "once-in-a-century genius onnagata" (female impersonator), will perform; on December 16th, the silent comedy duo "Gamarchoba" will perform; and on December 25th, Kiyoshi Hikawa will perform. A collaborative stage performance by jazz musician TOKU and hip-hop MC ZEEBRA is scheduled for December 16th and 17th.
Incidentally, Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo has been offering the "Quick Korugi" (Kolgi) experience plan, a first for the hotel spa industry, since October 1st. By stimulating the bones that control blood flow, it improves circulation and helps slim your face. Two plans are available: 15-minute and 30-minute. It can also be combined with a facial or body treatment. Prices start from 4,200 yen.
In addition, the hotel is planning a three-year renovation of all 260 rooms, based on the concept of "a second home where luxurious relaxation is combined with a lush garden." Reservations for the first "Prime Superior Room" began on October 24th. Stays begin on November 15th, and special renovation plans are available until December 26th. Prices start from 45,000 yen per room, with an additional 5,000 yen for stays on Saturdays and days before holidays.
