Nike releases two Brazilian sneakers showcasing Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo

Jun 27, 2014

Nike has released the Brazil Pack, inspired by a trip to Brazil's two largest cities, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.

This collection features three Nike styles beloved in Rio and São Paulo, each with an original print to represent each city. Crafted with a soft-to-the-touch jacquard, the Rio Pack represents Rio de Janeiro's rugged terrain and lush greenery. Layers of leather and synthetic leather in various shades of green are combined with colorful embroidery of orchids and wildlife, all set against a white sole. The lineup includes three models: the Nike Lunar Force 1 Mid Jacquard (¥22,000) with a three-quarters cut Lunarlon sole; the Nike Air Max 97 Jacquard (¥20,000) with a full-length visible Air unit; and the Nike Tiempo Zoom Mid 94 Jacquard (¥14,000) with a thin sole inspired by '90s football. The Sao Paulo Pack, inspired by cobblestone pavement known as "Portuguese pavement," combines a heavy canvas of full-grain leather with an organic and geometric pattern of polyester jacquard. The overlay panels have woven edges for a clean finish, and the sole is white. The collection includes the Nike Lunar Force 1 Mid Jacquard (22,000 yen), the Nike Blazer Zoom Hi Jacquard (14,000 yen), which was created to meet the needs of skateboarders, and the Nike Tiempo Mid 94 Jacquard (15,000 yen), which comes with a removable tongue. Available at Nike.com/nikelab and at select retailers. These shoes will add an accent to your feet during the light summer months.
