G.V., Theater, and Plantica are featured on wallpapers. FAKE wallpaper shop opens at Shinjuku Isetan

Oct 20, 2014

A pop-up store by THE WALLPAPER TOKYO and FAKE FURNITURE will be open from October 29th to November 11th at West Park/Promotion on the 3rd floor of Isetan Shinjuku.

Original wallpaper rolls (priced between 40,000 and 80,000 yen) are on sale, featuring graphics by fashion brands such as "beauty:beast," "bodysong," "CHRISTIAN DADA," "G.V.G.V," "SONOFTHECHEESE," and "THEATRE PRODUCTS," as well as artists such as "chocomoo," "Colliu," "DAMKY SIGNS," "edenworks," "kou," "plantica," "POEM&SOAP," "RECLAIMED WORKS," and "yoshirotten." The store will also carry some interior goods from FAKE TOKYO's new business, FAKE FURNITURE by FAKE TOKYO.

THE WALLPAPER TOKYO is a project between FAKE TOKYO and Jublee, a manufacturer and seller of DIY wallpaper for general consumers that can be applied and removed even in rental properties. The store produces and sells highly fashionable wallpaper, focusing on graphics and textiles proposed by artists and fashion brands, proposing a lifestyle in which coordinating your room is as enjoyable as coordinating your clothes.

A website will be launched on October 29th, the day the pop-up shop opens. With the aim of expanding the wallpaper's sales channels and raising awareness of the brand, FAKE TOKYO will be fully involved in the direction and promotion of the store, including interior design for offices and homes, and hosting pop-up shops in department stores and fashion malls.
