A display featuring the sparkling wine "Franciacorta" will be featured in the show window of the Isetan Shinjuku store.
This is part of the "Italian Week Underground Food" event, which runs from September 24th to October 14th. The display, which combines small items like bottles and corks with Italian fashion, will add a touch of elegance to the window. Under the title "La vita con il Franciacorta (Life with Franciacorta)," the display expresses Franciacorta's production philosophy through six themes: Adagio (Slow), Con grazia (Elegant), Naturale (Natural), Tenero (Gentle), Alla moda (Fashionable), and Serioso (Serious).
The navigator is Charlie Weiss, who has a gallery and salon in the men's building. His witty words, proposing a lifestyle, portray a dignified woman named "Chaco," who evokes the image of Franciacorta. During the "Italian Week Underground Food" event, Franciacorta sparkling wine will be available at the Grand Cave on the first basement floor. The store plans to continue expanding its selection even after the event ends, allowing customers to enjoy a variety of the brand's sparkling wines. Additionally, Isetan Shinjuku is hosting an "Italian Exhibition" in the event hall on the sixth floor from September 30th to October 5th. During this period, Franciacorta will also have a booth on the sixth floor of the main building. A tasting event featuring approximately 30 different sparkling wines will be held. "Franciacorta" is a sparkling wine made in Franciacorta, a hilly region in northern Italy. It is produced using the traditional method of secondary fermentation in the bottle, and is slowly aged for a minimum of three years, and sometimes as long as five. Certified as D.O.C.G., Italy's highest level, it is highly regarded by celebrities throughout Japan.
