The "Handcrafted Life: Get Your Hands in Action" exhibition, a collaboration with POPEYE magazine, will be held at ATELIER MUJI inside the MUJI Yurakucho store from March 8th to April 21st.
The concept of "upcycling," which involves modifying waste materials, unwanted items, and other worthless objects to transform them into one-of-a-kind creations, is gaining attention, and this exhibition focuses on the potential of the "hands" to dramatically transform things and ways of thinking. This exhibition will encourage visitors to experience the joy of using their hands and offer hints for enriching their lives. The exhibition will also feature workshops by sign painter Yusuke Kaneko, who also appears in POPEYE magazine, and the three-person creative group GELCHOP, as well as a talk event with stylist Ryoji Homma, founder of the vintage clothing remake brand 2-tacs.
