On March 14th, denim brand G-STAR RAW will launch its 2013 Spring/Summer campaign, "THE ART OF RAW." This campaign focuses on G-STAR's artistic side and features the brand's "RAW ART SERIES," an art series using raw denim. Aiming to explore the possibilities of denim, this art series showcases a variety of denim artworks, showcasing the brand's iconic skeleton dog, as well as denim-inspired table clocks, trumpets, and shovels, and even a formal guard uniform. Furthermore, a short film was produced to convey this unique worldview. The stylish film captures the process of spinning, dyeing, and weaving cotton to convey the brand's commitment to its denim fabric. The song "Puppy," created for the event by Grammy Award-winning artist Skrillex, serves as background music.
In addition, from the 14th to the 17th, an exhibition featuring the art series and short films will be held at the cafe "Montauk" (6-1-9 Jingumae, Shibuya-ku) in Omotesando, Tokyo.
