On March 20th, DRESSCAMP held its 2013-14 Autumn/Winter collection show at Shibuya Hikarie. This was the second season since designer Toshikazu Iwatani returned to the brand. The theme was "Jungle Collage." Down jackets and safari jackets were printed with camouflage patterns interspersed with flowers and animals. Blousons and shorts covered with fabric cut into the shape of leaves were also featured. Leopard print dominated the middle part of the show, with a variety of variations offered, ranging from vivid black and white contrasts to more subdued, chic looks. Military-inspired designs such as emblems, epaulettes, and boxy-fit blousons and ponchos were accented throughout, along with glittering innerwear and pants, and gold zippers. The denim was a collaboration with Lee, while the jersey wear and shoes were made in collaboration with Italian sports brand Lotto, the second consecutive season. The women's high heels also feature a sporty design incorporating sneaker details. The finale featured a fantastical women's look that boldly used ruffles, corsages, fur, and feathers. From styling that mixed street style elements such as sweatshirts to luxurious dresses featuring ruffles dyed in a rose petal gradient and large rose prints, Iwatani's unique sense of color and couture techniques were fully utilized. For the finale, a flurry of pure white cherry blossom petals danced down the runway.
