JIL SANDER presents its Fall/Winter 2021 Men's Collection.

This season, the brand presents an innovative wardrobe of suits, coats, and knitwear with exaggerated proportions and a unique color palette. The streamlined and soft garments reflect the shift between our desire for privacy and contact, our desire for luminosity and connection, and urban life.

The color palette is rich in color and shadow, moving from a natural to a utilitarian look, with off-white, butter, light mint green, sand, beige, and cocoa contrasting with lilac, lipstick mauve, iron, lemon, navy, and black.

Portraits of female Bauhaus artists and designers taken by Florence Henry in the 1920s have been enlarged and printed on canvas and sewn onto tailored jackets, coats and knitwear. A silver necklace with the word "Mother" handwritten on it represents family, a connection that is now more important than ever.

Sharp-looking dry wool suits are paired with straight, slim jackets or jackets with zipper pockets, cropped or slim trousers, and pullovers instead of shirts. Paired with knee-length boots in black pastel or lilac with voluminous soles, the upper body is given volume while the lower body is kept slim. Shirts, an essential part of a men's wardrobe, are available in oversized silhouettes in knit and flowing fabrics.

Highly refined, handmade knitwear also features as an important element of the collection.

Lucy and Luke Meier's latest collection is based on the concept of "coexistence of opposites," which is at the heart of their designs, and weaves together newly discovered forms and silhouettes to create a relaxed and elegant look. Be sure to check out the video along with the looks.
