On March 21st, Liberum Arbitrium presented its 2013-14 Autumn/Winter collection at Rooms Link. Designer Shinsuke Mitsuoka, who gained experience in London and Paris, launched his men's brand in 2012. The theme was "Urban Strategy." Inspired by "The Infinite Between 0 and 1," a work by contemporary artist Ryoji Ikeda, who is responsible for the stage music of Dumb Type, the brand incorporated the concept of modernity into its designs. The color palette included black, navy, green, gray, and mustard yellow. Two-tone contrasting coats, jackets, and shirts, which matched the horizontal screen lit up in the background, were styled with wool coats, skinny pants, and pleated pants.
At first glance, the design appears simple and basic, but it features minimalist details such as epaulets that are fitted in place, pockets hidden within the tucks, and fake welt pockets. The black and white graphic embroidery is also inspired by Ikeda's work. The visuals projected on the screen at the end were also reminiscent of Ikeda Ryoji's work.
