Jacques says, "Osmanthus absolute was the first perfume ingredient that really moved me. I encountered it at the age of 11 in my father's laboratory in Grasse, and was instantly captivated by its indescribable scent and its name, which evoked a faraway land. Later, when I visited China, the sweet scent of osmanthus and magnolia wafted around the shops in the flower market at sunset. I was deeply moved by this magical, uplifting fragrance. The harmony created by the combination of osmanthus and magnolia, two gifts from nature, was imprinted in my mind."
