Swiss-made mechanical watch "Cru Automatic" releases a diamond edition limited to 20 pieces worldwide

Jan 22, 2021
CREUX AUTOMATIQ, a Swiss-made mechanical watch by Culet Jewellery, a jewelry manufacturer in Amsterdam with over 130 years of history, has released a diamond edition of just 20 pieces worldwide. Based on the brand's signature model, GHOST, the limited edition GHOST DIAMOND model is now on sale at the Principe Prive official online store (https://principe-prive.com/collections/creux-automatiq/products/ghost-diamond).

This is the latest model in CREUX AUTOMATIQ's limited edition GHOST collection, which always sells out immediately.

The newly released GHOST DIAMOND is a rare model limited to 20 pieces worldwide.

The bezel is set with 42 white diamonds. The case is made of titanium with a gunmetal PVD finish and hairline finish. The diamonds stand out against the monochromatic design, creating a luxurious look.

The case design of the GHOST SR series is inspired by the smooth curves and slopes found in modern sports car design. The avant-garde shape, paired with the crown guard, is a signature Creux Automatiq design. The case is made of titanium with a microbril sandblasted finish and is lighter than the previous stainless steel Ghost model. It also has a matte-finish screw-down crown, which is attributed to its water resistance of 10 bar (100 meters). The bezel is set with 42 white diamonds, creating a luxurious design.

About CREUX AUTOMATIQ
Creux Automatiq was launched in 2009 as a new business venture by Culet Jewellery, a jewelry manufacturer in Amsterdam that has been in business for over 130 years, with the concept of "producing high-performance watches at an affordable price."

The team, led by designer Dan Rumble, spent two years in Swiss watch factories learning everything they knew about the precision of movements, the manufacture of cases, and the various materials and components that go into making a high-quality watch. Armed with this knowledge, they have put together unique and avant-garde designs that are not only classic but also convey elements of contemporary design.

Passionate about the outdoors and adventure, Lambre came up with the name while hiking in the Swiss "Creux du Van" valley in Le Soria. "Creux," or "hollow" in English, also matched the brand's first watch, "The Ghost CA-01," thanks to its skeletonized movement and dial.

The Ghost case design (now a Creux Automatiq brand signature) was first created in Lambre's home workshop in 2009, cast from a solid sliver of pure silver. To this day, the original design remains faithfully preserved.
