Fujiya, which celebrates its 111th anniversary this year, entered Ginza in 1923 and opened its Sukiyabashi store in Ginza in 1953. Since then, despite repeated renovations and relocations, it has remained a beloved Ginza landmark for approximately 68 years.
Fujiya and Ginza Mitsukoshi, which has been beloved since opening its Ginza store in 1930, are hosting "FUJIYA Smile Switch Valentine 2021 in GINZA." This event will allow you to fully immerse yourself in the world of Fujiya, with a variety of must-see exhibits for non-fans alike, including historical photos of the Fujiya store that once stood in Ginza, a reproduction of the original Peko-chan doll in front of the shop, the original packaging of "Milky," which celebrates its 70th anniversary this year, and a tabletop Peko-chan doll used to promote Milky, as well as sales of "Pure Gold Peko-chan" that can only be obtained here, a stamp rally, and sales of sweets and goods.
