"Tokyo Art & Antiques - Nihonbashi/Kyobashi Art & Antiques Festival," showcasing art from ancient to contemporary art, will be held for three days from April 26th to 28th. Participating art stores and galleries in the Nihonbashi/Kyobashi area include 67, including Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store, Nihonbashi Takashimaya, and Maruzen Nihonbashi. During the event, a variety of friendly events are planned, including a paid gallery tour of four or five galleries with lunch included. "Meshi Chawan - Part of the Oguchi Collection" will feature leftover and damaged bowls for sale. Horinishi Mami, founder of "Chikian," a gold-spliced pottery repair shop, will demonstrate gold repair and offer a brief lecture. At the "Grand Tasting Event," visitors can actually pick up a bowl and hold it to their mouth while sampling selected sake. There will also be a gallery talk by Kawashima Kimiyuki, "Ceramics of the Late Ming and Early Qing Dynasties," a photo exhibition to commemorate the publication of "The World's Hualien Encyclopedia" (Bensei Publishing), a lecture by photographer Miura Isao and Hualien expert Ikegami Masaharu, and a performance by dancer Tanaka Seiji. In addition, by collaborating with nearby art museums and antenna shops, the museum will disseminate more information, providing an even more fulfilling art tour.
