On March 23rd, GANRYU presented its 2013-14 Autumn/Winter collection at Shibuya Hikarie. Designer Maruryu Fumito. The theme, "UNIDENTIFFIED," featured a motley mix of elements, including checkered shirts in various colors and sizes, shirts with military-style nylon fronts, down vests with leather yokes, Melton coats with drawstring waists, and rubber-soled footwear. Outerwear like coats, jackets, and cable knits were slightly oversized, while bottoms were slim or short and compact. The hems were all rolled up. The brand's signature sarouel pants were available in denim, corduroy, and chinos. They featured a separate piece of fabric tucked into the inner thigh, creating a generous amount of room and accentuating the tapered fit below the knee. This was the first time a Comme des Garçons brand had shown at Tokyo Collection in 14 years, since 1999.
