New work "See-Through" from the private lives of five muses, Aurora textile designer Yuki Fujisawa's solo exhibition begins

Mar 1, 2013

Textile designer Yuki Fujisawa's solo exhibition "See-Through" opened on March 1st at the gallery "ROCKET" in Harajuku, Tokyo.
For this exhibition, she created new textiles called "See-Through" inspired by the personal lives of the five muses. Using these textiles, she designed clothing, accessories, and other items that evoke a story. The venue's rocket is likened to a "home," and items made from textiles themed around each muse are displayed in spaces reminiscent of kitchens and bedrooms. Some of these items are also available for pre-order.
Other past works, such as "A.M. Skirt" and "Aurora Scrunchie," will also be on sale during the exhibition. Furthermore, workshops to create her signature aurora textiles will be held on the 3rd, 6th, and 9th. Participation is 3,500 yen. The event runs until the 12th.
Yuki Fujisawa creates textiles by hand based on the concept of "the invisible." She also runs the brand "haato no ten," which focuses on one-of-a-kind clothing and accessories made from original textiles.
