Adidas Japan Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce the release of the Ultraboost 21, the latest 2021 model in the Ultraboost series, Adidas' iconic premium running shoe known for its incredible energy return.
Ultraboost 21 uses 6% more of Adidas' proprietary Boost foam midsole material than the previous model, and incorporates new ADIDAS LEP technology in the outsole to deliver unprecedented responsiveness and comfort. The shoe delivers incredible energy return, giving you a surge of energy the moment you step out.
The Proto White model, available exclusively at direct stores, will be available for pre-sale exclusively to adiCLUB members on the adidas app and adidas online shop from January 14, 2021. In addition, a wide range of 24 models will be available at retailers nationwide from February 4, 2021.

By rethinking the original Ultra Boost and combining it with the latest modern technology, the three elements of lightness, cushioning, and rebound are uncompromisingly harmonized, resulting in a bold new design and astonishing energy return.
The most distinctive evolution in the Ultra Boost 21 is "ADIDAS LEP (Linear Energy Push)." The torsion system previously installed in the outsole has been redesigned, and the newly developed "ADIDAS LEP" improves forefoot flex stiffness by 15%, achieving high rebound and a longer stride. This "ADIDAS LEP" works in conjunction with adidas' proprietary midsole material, "Boost foam," which is 6% more foam than the previous model, to provide runners with incredible rebound and a comfortable, energetic run.
