Mint Designs holds first Kyushu exhibition in Fukuoka, with the theme "materials"

Mar 5, 2016

From March 19th to April 17th, mintdesigns will hold their first solo exhibition in the Kyushu region, "Mint Designs Exhibition - MATERIAL DICTIONARY," at Mitsubishi Estate Artium in Chuo Ward, Fukuoka.

Mint Designs is known for its fresh colors, light and humorous shapes and textures, and playful graphics such as doll-like patterns. By carefully examining each material, they have built up knowledge of the production background and characteristics of each material. Previous collection themes have focused on materials, such as "knit" for the 03-04 AW collection, "3D lace" for the 06 SS collection, and "denim" for the 11 SS collection, demonstrating their strong commitment to materials.

The theme of this solo exhibition is "material = MATERIAL." Items such as clothing and miscellaneous goods will be introduced, along with the production backgrounds. Additionally, as a related event, a pop-up shop selling Mint Designs items, mainly miscellaneous goods and accessories, will be open at Art Shop Dot G, an attached shop at Mitsubishi Estate ARTIUM, during the exhibition period. A two-day only pop-up shop will also open on March 20th and 21st at a special shop on the first basement floor of the building.
