Isetan Shinjuku Men's has launched the "Beach Suit" project, proposing a jacket and shorts set style this summer, in the promotional space on the first floor (until March 15th) as well as on the second, third, and sixth floors.
Now in its third season, the "Beach Suit" is a combination of jacket and shorts proposed by Isetan Men's this summer. It's a new summer style that can be enjoyed in any situation, from the office to parties, with a free-spirited approach that breaks the "rules" of conventional wear. Last season, the interpretation of suits was expanded to include not only casual wear but also styles suitable for resorts and after-parties.
This season's keyword is "high-tech and functional materials." By incorporating synthetic fibers such as nylon, polyester, and polyurethane into suits, a sporty feel is added, further enhancing ease of movement and comfort. The suit is suitable for traditional leisure and party wear, as well as business and related occasions, and is proposed for urban dwellers. An Isetan buyer commented, "Recently, there has been an increasing demand for suits that can be worn regardless of the occasion. For example, if you go to the gym after work, instead of going home and changing before going to the gym, you can go straight from the office to the gym, out to town, or out to eat. In this way, I feel that the boundaries between on and off lifestyles are becoming blurred. We worked with various brands and designers to incorporate stretch materials and mesh into the suits so that the beach suits we are proposing this time can also be suited to active businessmen." Beach suit brands featured in the promotional space on the first floor include ATO, DSQUARED2, ENGINEERED GARMENTS, FACTOTUM, JULIUS, KAZUYUKI KUMAGAI, KOLOR PERPETUAL, NONNATIVE, UNUSED, and WACKO MARIA. During the event, the space will also host an event called "ISETAN MEN'S Licaxxx Mix powered by Surface," where people can wear beach suits and enjoy DJ performances (March 12th and 13th, both days from 3pm and 5pm).
