A new gallery opens at BRICK & MORTAR in Nakameguro, with an opening exhibition featuring Shu Murakami and other artists.

BRICK&MORTAR, a lifestyle shop in Nakameguro run by Murakami Fine Arts, the company behind the product brand amabro, is opening a small gallery in Nakameguro to celebrate its second anniversary. The gallery's concept is "ART OF LIFE—Incorporating art into your daily life." Curated by artist Shu Murakami, who has developed original items and lifestyle shops, the gallery will showcase a variety of unconventional works. From March 29th to April 10th, the opening exhibition, "PUBLIC THREE," will feature Murakami, Koichiro Takagi, who draws animals using a variety of techniques including embroidery and painting, and Kentaro Tanaka, who creates illustrations for magazines and books, as well as spatial designs and murals. Experience the unique worlds of these three artists, each with their own unique techniques and expressions.
