Mademoiselle Yulia, who performed as a DJ and livened up the fashion floor, enlivened the event. A DJ, singer, and designer, she's always garnering attention as a fashion icon. In connection with the event, we spoke to her about fashion, Ginza, and cherry blossoms. --Tell us about your fashion today. "I chose some clothes from Phenomenon that I recently bought. The designer is a friend of mine, and I love the designs and wear it often. My shoes are by TOGA. Pink is my favorite color, so I wear it often, but I usually wear lighter pinks." --What kind of fashion are you interested in this spring?
"It's gradually getting warmer, but there are still times when it feels cold, so I'd like to have something to put on. I'd like to come shopping in Ginza too."
--What is the appeal of Ginza to you, Yuria?
"I think Ginza is a town for adults. I think what's appealing is the mix of new and historic things. It's very refreshing to hold a fashion event in a place like Ginza! I hope this will be an opportunity to discover new charms of Ginza. Today (Ginza Mitsukoshi x Harper's Bazaar Special Night Party) is different from the usual events held in clubs and so on, so a variety of people will come, so I chose music that everyone can enjoy. I'd love to perform at an event like this again!"
--Today's venue has an early cherry blossom viewing atmosphere, do you have any plans for cherry blossom viewing? "I make sure to go cherry blossom viewing every year. I love the cherry blossoms along Meguro River, but this year I'd like to go to some places I haven't been to yet."
