Amabro, a product brand with the theme of "Art of life," has launched a new gift service for official occasions such as wedding favors and thank-you gifts. The products include the "JAPAN MADE" series, a collaboration with Arita ware that recreates Japanese tableware from the 1600s, with Amabro's original gold prints. The lineup includes popular tableware from the shop, such as the soba choko "CHOKU" (set of two in a box: 8,610 yen, single item: 3,675 yen), which can be used as a small bowl or teacup, and the palm-sized small plate "MAME" (set of three in a box: 5,460 yen, single item: 1,365 yen), as well as the Echizen lacquerware bowl "WAN" (7,560 yen in a paulownia wood box) and the "CHA-POT," which mixes traditional Japanese tea utensils with a European touch. After ordering from the catalog, items will be delivered to your home or wedding reception venue in approximately one month.
The brand is overseen by artist Amane Murakami. As art director of the design studio AMDR, he is involved in a wide range of creative activities across genres, including advertisements, magazines, fashion catalogs, wall paintings, and CD jackets. He is also responsible for the graphics for brands Numero Uno and Intimate Diary, run by stylist Hiroshi Ozawa. At Murakami Art, which he represents, he works to promote the ReJAPON brand, which adds a modern sensibility to high-quality traditional Japanese industries and creates new values, to an international audience.
