BVLGARI released its new men's fragrance, BVLGARI Man Extreme Eau de Toilette (60ml/7,770 yen, 100ml/10,395 yen), on February 6th. The bath line's Aftershave Balm (100ml/5,460 yen) was also released at the same time.
The fragrance has a fresh, clear woody note. It develops from fresh top notes of bergamot orange and pink grapefruit to masculine heart notes of white freesia and cardamom, and a woody base note of balsa wood and benzoin. The metallic bottle has a dignified design that looks as if it were carved from Roman marble.
The advertising campaign features Eric Bana, the Australian actor who starred in the film "Hulk." German photographer Peter Lindbergh was in charge of photography, and Matteo Garrone, winner of the Special Jury Prize at Cannes, directed the short film. The black-and-white photographs and footage were shot at the Museum of Roman Civilization. A video about the campaign can be viewed on the special website "DVELS" commemorating the launch.
