Marc Jacobs' Fall/Winter 2013-14 men's collection was unveiled at Milan Fashion Week. This season, the brand proposed a style that blended two elements: the "Teds" style, created by young Londoners who admired the dandyism of Edward VII's era; and the tailored style of Savile Row, London's tailoring district, which was reinterpreted in Britain after World War II. The collection also drew influence from the legendary 1970s rock band, the New York Dolls. The particularly vibrant color palettes were inspired by guitarist Johnny Thunders and his rockabilly style. Classic fabrics, such as houndstooth in various sizes, Prince of Wales check, pinstripes, and flannel, were arranged in graphic patterns. Fur trimmings added a touch of luxury and elegance. This season, we have collaborated with Brooklyn artist BAST, who has been active in the European and street art scenes for over 10 years, creating new patterns with names such as "Goggles," "Woofie," and "Bandana Man."
