
HEAD PORTER, celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2013, reopened its first store, HEAD PORTER TOKYO, on Friday, February 8th. The new store carries all HEAD PORTER products, as well as the HEAD PORTER PLUS apparel line, which is based on the concept of "SIMPLE & GOOD QUALITY." To kick off the anniversary year, the brand also introduced a long-awaited new item in the navy "TANKER" series. HEAD PORTER was founded in July 1998. It produces items made with original textiles and designs, utilizing the sophisticated techniques of Japanese bag manufacturer Yoshida & Co. Currently, the brand operates four stores: the Harajuku flagship store, - atelier - Head Porter (Shibuya), the Nagoya store, and Head Porter Loft (Kyoto).
TANKER is a series synonymous with Head Porter. Based on the MA-1 flight jacket motif, it has a timeless design with a padded triple-layered fabric, and is loved by people of all ages for its functionality.
