ACTUS has released "123 People's Homes Vol. 1.5 + ACTUS STYLE BOOK Vol. 9," a set that includes an interior design collection and a lifestyle magazine. The collection, "123 People's Homes Vol. 1.5," is a sequel to "123 People's Homes" (2012), which achieved an unprecedented total circulation of over 110,000 copies for an interior design magazine and topped Amazon's interior sales ranking for the first half of 2013. It features interviews with 31 interior design-loving employees and 55 customers, and compiles a total of 86 real-life stories. Meanwhile, the lifestyle magazine, "ACTUS STYLE BOOK Vol. 9," includes a popular series in which a chair from Italy's Porada company travels through beautiful Japanese landscapes, as well as overseas coverage of the "careful living" rooted in Denmark. The price is 1,111 yen. The magazine is available at Actus shops nationwide, Actus Online, major bookstores nationwide, and online bookstores. Launched in 1996, the magazine aims to promote the joy of interior design and revitalize Japan's interior design market. It ceased publication with the release of Vol. 7 in 2002, but was revived in 2011 with Vol. 8 after a nine-year hiatus. Established in 1972, Actus carries imported furniture, textiles, and interior accessories, primarily from Europe, with stores in the Kanto region, including Shinjuku, Aoyama, and Yokohama. This spring, the company launched "Auer by Kinfolk," a general lifestyle brand whose creative director is Nathan Williams, editor-in-chief of the American-Polish magazine Kinfolk. In April, the Kanto flagship store of "Slow House," a lifestyle store offering interior design, apparel, and food, opened on the Tennozu waterfront.
