"Slow House," a brand that offers thoughtful living, opens its Kanto flagship store. Kinfolk's new brand and game restaurant are also located here.

ACTUS opened the Kanto flagship store of its lifestyle store "SLOW HOUSE," offering interior goods, apparel, and food, on the Tennoz waterfront on April 25th. Following the opening of "SLOW HOUSE Umeda" in Umeda, Osaka in 2011, the Tennoz store is the only flagship store in the Kanto region. In addition to its original interior design, the store also houses "Ouur by KINFORK," a general lifestyle brand whose creative director is Nathan Williams, editor-in-chief of the American-Polish magazine "KINFORK," and "SOHOLM," a restaurant serving wild and organic food, primarily game dishes and caviar. The store proposes the concept of "mindful living" in all areas: clothing, food, and housing. The two-story store is located above ground. A corner of the first floor is dedicated to Auer by Kinfolk, and a wide range of other items are available, including greenery, food ingredients, skincare products, and bathroom cleaners. Located along the river, Suholm is a bright space with natural light streaming in through the windows, and the terrace is open in the summer. The second floor features Scandinavian and vintage furniture, along with a custom-made curtain corner. Coordinated by interior stylist Fumiko Sakuhara, the space has a lived-in feel, making you feel like you're visiting a friend's home. The fragrance bar offers a wide selection of brands, including those making their Japan debut, such as CULTI, ALIXX, Mad et Len, and Aesop. Auer by Kinfolk, Actus' only clothing line and the Japanese-made Kinflok brand, is already extremely popular at other Actus stores, and some customers even visit Actus stores from overseas after learning about it. The store plans to expand its display area to accommodate an even larger number of styles for the upcoming fall/winter season, and is also considering expanding into the US market. Limited-edition items will also be available to commemorate the opening of the Tennoz store. Two items will be released in collaboration with British fabric brand Thomas Mason: the "Sunday Shirt" (¥23,000 for men, ¥22,000 for women) and the "Saturday Dress" (¥26,000, available in white and blue). An Actus spokesperson said, "Slow House is a brand that pursues and proposes essential lifestyles. Tennoz is a region undergoing development following Odaiba, and we hope to become a place where we can disseminate lifestyle proposals. We want to make the store a place where people visit and stay for long periods of time."
