Pet fashion on the women's clothing floor. "CREATOR'S DOG LIFE" is currently being held at Isetan Shinjuku.

A limited-time shop called "CREATOR'S DOG LIFE" has opened on the 4th floor women's clothing floor of Isetan Shinjuku, proposing spring/summer fashion for dogs with the theme of "living with dogs."

Leashes, toys, and all kinds of pet goods from the American dog shop "GEORGE" are on display. The selection also includes dog wear made from a material developed by NASA that releases heat when it's hot and keeps you warm when it's cold. Custom orders for dog wear and pet beds are also available.

At the same time, clothes for walking dogs are also being suggested. Brands include Y's and KEITA MARUYAMA. The concept is for both dogs and humans to go out in stylish spring outfits. "The clothes aren't specifically for walking dogs, but they are stylish pieces inspired by the fashion of the creators, so this time we selected Y's and KEITA MARUYAMA. The fourth floor is for high-end women's clothing, but we found that many of the shoppers who shop here also go to the sixth floor, where pet goods are sold, so we are proposing a lifestyle this time. The background to this is that more and more people who have finished raising their children are adopting dogs as partners to enjoy the rest of their lives," explains a staff member.

In addition, in collaboration with fashion photographer Yasuto Okumura, who has made it his life's work to photograph dogs, excerpts from his dog photo book "Hi・Dear," which he has collected over the past 10 years, are displayed on the walls as dog portraits.
