Yushin Creation, which operates fashion brands such as YEVS, will open the first ASOKO general goods store on Minami-Horie Orange Street in Osaka's Minami district on March 2nd (1F Avant-Garde Building, 1-19-23 Minami-Horie, Nishi-ku, Osaka). Based on the concept of "Enjoy the Surprise!", the store will offer approximately 1,000 playful, original items ranging from office and living room accessories to kitchen and outdoor gear. Reasonably priced items include a pepper and salt case (105 yen), aroma candles (630 yen), a camouflage tent (2,625 yen), and a folding bicycle (15,750 yen). Additionally, an opening event, the "ASOKO NO MONO Exhibition," will be held at the Horie Gallery, located above ASOKO, from March 2nd to 10th. Using ASOKO products as a motif, the exhibition will feature a number of artworks created in collaboration between award-winning Osaka-born art director Shimada Tamotsu and over 20 Kansai creators.
