The Nakameguro Blue Cave illumination event will be held in Nakameguro from November 23rd to December 25th. The lights will be on from 5pm to 9pm.

This event involves lighting up the street trees lining both banks of the Meguro River with blue illuminations. The lights are reflected on the surface of the river, painting the surrounding scenery in a solid shade of blue. The illuminations start around Nakameguro Station and will stretch for a total length of 500m. Approximately 400,000 electric lights will be used.

During the event, Santa Claus dressed in blue will make an appearance, and there will also be surprise events such as the giving away of Nissin Foods' pasta sauce, Blue Cave.
