On November 4th, Pernod Ricard Japan released the "Absolut Andy Warhol Edition," a limited edition bottle of premium vodka. Only 5,200 bottles will be sold in Japan.
Andy Warhol designed the bottle for the company's Absolut vodka in 1986. This new bottle features a 3D reproduction of his image. The product logo and medallion are colorful and vivid, with Warhol's handwritten product description written below. Another key feature is the blacked-out back, which makes the logo and text stand out even more clearly. It also features Warhol's portrait and signature.
In conjunction with the release of the Warhol Edition, Absolut's official website launched a special page. A video showcasing the limited edition bottle is also available. Content is also available that allows users to create Warhol-inspired artwork using brushes and patterns.
